“Using a Classroom Newspaper to Develop Writing Skills”- Beginners and Advanced Beginners

1. We used a PowerPoint template.

2. Newspaper in Education Program- ‘The Record’

Students participated in the program and worked on activities which familiarized them with the layout and content of newspaper writing.

3. Students were asked to use personal experiences as much as possible to avoid plagiarism of internet material.

4. What We Learned From This Experience by ELL’s

ü It helped me with my grammar.

ü It helped me learn vocabulary.

ü It gave me experience on how to provide information to other people.

ü It gave me an idea on sentence framing.

ü It is helpful for general knowledge.
