Statement:
New Jersey will continue to use multiple measures for exiting students. However, there are now exit scores for
ACCESS which can be used for one of the measures for exit determinations. For grades 1-12, the exit score is a
language proficiency level of 4.5 on ACCESS; for kindergarten, a language proficiency level of 3.0.
