My name is Cassandra Lawrence, and I am a bilingual elementary school teacher in the Perth Amboy School District. I am proud of our Bilingual Program and of the outstanding efforts of my colleagues to meet the needs of our students. I am especially proud of the many efforts I have been involved in to improve parental involvement at my school, where together with a very dedicated group of teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents, we have made significant strides in home-school relations.
