Why Attend Our Annual Legislative Conference?

Decisions made by the State Board of Education and by lawmakers affect YOU! It’s been eight years since the enactment of NCLB and we recognize the enormous impact that this law and others have had on your teaching. NOW is the time to learn more about NCLB and other legislation so that your voice as a New Jersey educator will be heard.

Registration fees are included in the spring conference fee. However, DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, PRE-REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY FOR THESE EVENTS. E-mail Maria Jaume, on-site socio-political concerns representative at mjaume@njtesol-njbe.org, to register for one or both sessions. Please state in your email the session(s) that you’d like to attend. Please state if you will be attending the Meet and Greet Luncheon. Only pre-registrants for the Legislative Conference may attend the Meet and Greet luncheon.

*Raffles at each session: Two day 2010 conference fee, one year membership NJTESOL-NJBE, books
*PD Certificates will be available for each session
