SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS: Early Childhood

PreK-Kindergarten SIG Notes

By Monica Schnee

This year’s Special Interest Group meeting was extremely well attended on both days of the Spring Conference. We had about 60 members join our discussions between Wednesday and Thursday. I want to thank all of the participants for sharing their experiences, knowledge and what you do in your programs. I also want to express how touched I was by some of the emails I received after the conference. We all share a passion for teaching and for our learners. As we all agreed, the best way to succeed is to work collaboratively and to share our failures and successes. Below are some highlights from our meeting and resources that I promised to share.
